Bicycling south of Boston.

CLUBS DEVOTED TO SOUTH OF BOSTON

I have several bikes. I have enjoy a combination of vintage bicycles and modern bicycles over the years. I ride my modern bike throughout most of the year. I will ride during the winter, spring, summer, and fall. My primary bike used to be an Allez Elite Double with a FSA Carbon Crank. The components are mostly 105. The frame is of a 62cm top-tube sloping design. This bicycle needs to be sent to for recycing into Coca Cola cans due to an accident. I am now riding a Fuji Roubaix. I also have a Schwin Le Tour III for around the town trips. In the summer I usually bike approximately one hundred miles a week. I like Mike Togo’s ride in Hanson on Sundays at 8 AM. Mike rides every week regardless of the season. Only the utter cold of twenty below zero would cause Mike to give pause. I am also a member of the Charles River Wheelmen and I like to ride in their centuries. I also do the ride from Rockland on Sundays at 7 AM when I am not at Mike Togo’s ride. They also have a nice ride on Saturdays in Needham, which I have been to occassionally. N1EY

Here are some of the highlights from the weekly cycling activity south of Boston, Massachusetts.  Some of the scenery is great.  We ride along the coast in places.  Or we ride through the park.  There are plenty of light houses to see.  There are lots of cranberry bogs to visit or Llamas to review.
